Since New Seasons Market acquired Northern California’s New Leaf Community Markets as a wholly-owned subsidiary in 2013, the grocers say they have been looking for ways to give their customers more of what they want. Based on requests from people in the Evergreen community of San Jose, California, New Seasons says the the New Leaf store there officially became a New Seasons Market on Saturday, March 14. Customers can continue to enjoy all of the natural and organic products New Leaf offeres, plus an additional 2,500 brand name classics.

“The Evergreen area is unique in that there are few grocery stores, and customers don’t have many convenient options available. They’ve asked for more of a neighborhood grocery store experience, which New Seasons Market offers with its assortment of natural and organic products alongside familiar name-brand products,” said Wendy Collie, president and CEO of Portland, Oregon-based New Seasons Market. “In addition to offering great product choices, we’ll provide customers with the friendliest service, work with new local food producers in the area and collaborate with community partners to increase their positive impact and build lasting relationships.”

The San Jose store is located at 5667 Silver Creek Valley Road.
