Instantly, the world’s largest audience and insights company, has released its April Shelf Score report, a monthly top 10 list of the newest CPG products ranked by consumer purchase intent.

The company’s latest report shows that CPG brands are diversifying their flavor profiles as consumer interest in ethnic foods increases. Products with the highest purchase intent scores included Sweet & Spicy Chipotle Wheat Thins (57 percent), Doritos Salsa Verde (54 percent), Oscar Mayer Southwest Style Chipotle Dogs (51 percent) and Wasabi & Soy Sauce Pringles (41 percent).

As Millennials, in particular, continue to influence product innovation, CPG brands also are putting new twists on traditional lunch products in an effort to stay relevant, with other items on the list including Goldfish Grahams Honey (70 percent), Cotton Candy Oreos (49 percent) and Lunchables with 100% Juice, Turkey & Cheddar Sub Sandwich (55 percent).

Each product was evaluated by hundreds of consumers via the Instantly Concept Test platform, which collects feedback on key success indicators such as purchase intent, differentiation, need/desire and value.
