Customers in Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area can choose from virtually any items carried at their local Smart & Final store and have them delivered in as little as one hour. Prices on Instacart will match Smart & Final’s in-store prices, excluding special offers.
“Instacart customers asked us to work value grocers into our mix, and we delivered,” said Nilam Ganenthiran, VP of business development and strategy at Instacart. “Smart & Final has a stellar reputation as being one of the premier value chains on the West Coast, offering a wide assortment of high-quality items at low warehouse prices. It’s the ideal choice for grocery shoppers on a budget, and a great addition to the Instacart service in California.”
Added Michael Laddon, chief information officer and SVP at Smart & Final, “Smart & Final is excited to kick off this delivery partnership with Instacart today. We look forward to providing Los Angeles and San Francisco Bay Area shoppers an online one-stop shopping experience where households, businesses, clubs and organizations can purchase their everyday grocery and household staples, while also having the ability to stock up on a variety of club-sized products.”
