In honor of the 10th anniversary of National Bomb Pop Day, the iconic red, white and blue frozen ice pop is giving consumers the opportunity to win with the first ever Photo Bomb Pop (a.k.a. #PhotoBombPop) promotion. From June 25—which was National Bomb Pop Day—through July 9, consumers can submit their original photo bomb featuring a Bomb Pop for a chance at a “sweet suite” of prizes.
The #PhotoBombPop promotion is seeking original humorous and creative photo bombs featuring the Bomb Pop. Participants can opt to feature an actual Bomb Pop, printed image or Bomb Pop packaging in their photo.
Ten submissions chosen at random will receive a professional, mountable video camera and handgrip. Of those 10 entrants, one will be chosen by a panel of judges as the grand prize winner and also will receive a 13-inch premium laptop.
Digital influencer and YouTube fashion and beauty creator Aspyn Ovard, on Bomb Pop’s behalf, spent a day photo bombing Southern Californians at the Santa Monica Pier. The results are on her YouTube channel on the StyleHaul network so consumers can get inspiration for their own photo bombs.
To participate, entrants should upload their photo bomb to PhotoBombPop.com, or to Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #PhotoBombPop.
The Original Bomb Pop was first introduced in 1955, and to commemorate its 50th anniversary in 2005, National Bomb Pop Day was established.
