Soupman is rolling out four soups at more than 2,100 Kroger stores nationwide. Soupman’s Lobster Bisque, Chicken Noodle, Chicken Gumbo and Crab & Corn Chowder, will be at Kroger, Dillon Stores, Fry’s Food Stores, King Soopers, Ralph’s, Fred Meyers, Smith’s and others starting in September. All of Soupman soups are sold in environmentally friendly, “green” Tetra Pak cartons.
The Soupman also will be on hand at Kroger headquarters in Cincinnati on Oct. 23 to ladle up soup to celebrate the national rollout of Soupman soups in Kroger stores.
“For decades, customers in NYC have waited in long lines in all kinds of weather just to get a taste of our soups,” said Jamieson Karson, newly appointed CEO of Soupman Inc. “Now, with the help of Kroger’s, customers all over the country can experience the soup that drives New Yorkers wild.
“We believe this is an important milestone in our multi-channel distribution strategy to continue to grow Soupman’s brand presence,” added Karson.
Soupman soups are available next to Campbell’s and Progresso in the soup aisle of other retailers as well, including Safeway, Publix, H-E-B and more.
