Uno Worker Severely Burned In Oven Explosion, And More…

An oven explosion on Jan. 31 at a Wrentham, Massachusetts, Uno Pizzeria & Grill restaurant left an employee severely burned. Authorities said an aerosol spray can apparently blew up after it fell onto a conveyor belt of the restaurant’s pizza oven. The explosion blew open the oven doors. The employee was taken to Rhode Island Hospital with first- and second-degree burns…

World of Beer, the Tampa-based craft tavern featuring more than 550 craft and international beers, has continued aggressive expansion throughout the U.S. 2015 highlighted the opening of 22 taverns, with the projection of more than 100 taverns to be open by the end of 2016. The craft tavern concept also has announced it will open its first taverns in Minnesota, Massachusetts, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and Las Vegas this year. The menu, which highlights beer as a key ingredient, also features many of appetizers, flatbreads, sandwiches, burgers and seasonal items like habanero pumpkin wings.
