The Tennessee Grocers & Convenience Store Association (TGCSA) held its annual legislative “Day on the Hill” on Feb. 2.

A strong contingent of food industry retailers, suppliers and manufacturers fanned out across Nashville’s Legislative Plaza, talking to lawmakers about legislation affecting the upcoming implementation of wine in grocery stores, a bottle deposit bill and the Department of Revenue’s Retail Accountability Program, commonly known as RAP.

The day kicked off with welcoming remarks from Secretary of State Tre Hargett and featured meetings with House Speaker Beth Harwell and members of the administration.
