Nestlé Dismissed From Class-Action Suit Against Gerber, And More…

Nestlé USA has been dismissed from a class-action lawsuit brought against Gerber for allegedly misleading consumers. The lawsuit, filed last year, was brought by three consumer advocacy firms that allege that the packaging for Gerber Graduates Puffs implies that the toddler treats are made from healthy fruits and vegetables rather than the flour and sugar that they mostly consist of. According to the consumer advocacy firms, Gerber remains a defendant in the ongoing case…

Sprouted grain bread manufacturer Angelic Bakehouse says that its certified kosher, Sprouted Seven-Grain bread will become available in select Costco locations in the Northeast this week. In addition to the three Pittsburgh area locations that already carry the product, nine Costco locations in New York, New Jersey and Maryland—including Brooklyn, Rochester and Gaithersburg—will carry the Seven-Grain bread.
