Global Partners Eyes Sale Of 125 Non-Strategic C-Stores, And More…

Global Partners LP of Waltham, Massachusetts, is exploring plans to sell 125 non-strategic convenience stores within a year. The announcement was made during the company’s 2015 fiscal fourth quarter earning conference. The company currently has 844 owned or leased convenience stores, now that the Warren Equities and Capitol Petroleum acquisitions have been completed. The company also reduced its workforce by 70 people, or nearly 8 percent, excluding non-convenience store employees…

NOCO Express of Tonawanda, New York, has opened a remodeled Tim Hortons store at 4265 Maple Road in Amherst, New York. The store underwent an approximately four-week remodel that includes additional space, which involved relocating the store’s registers…

Eboni Russell has joined the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) as retail membership manager. She will support all aspects of retail member retention and recruitment. She comes to NACS from the National Association of Minority Automobile Dealers where she was a membership executive. Prior to that she worked at the Virginia Commonwealth University Adult Learning Resource Center and Literacy Institute.
