The National Restaurant Association (NRA) has announced six regional finalists to its upcoming Star of the Bar, part of the NRA Hotel-Motel Show on May 22 at McCormick Place in Chicago. This national cocktail competition invites the six finalists from Chicago, San Diego, Boston, Charleston, New York City and San Francisco to mix up the most innovative cocktail creation using Jägermeister. “Savor, A Celebration Of Wine, Food & Spirits,” presented by Foxwoods Resort Casino, will take place at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, Thursday, April 7-Saturday, April 9. Regional chefs for this three-day event showcasing the best of the New England culinary scene will join host chef Robert Irvine of Food Network’s “Restaurant: Impossible.” A portion of proceeds will be donated to the Robert Irvine Foundation, a nonprofit organization honoring the men and women defending the U.S.
