Minion Mints, based on the comical characters from the “Despicable Me” movies, have returned after a highly successful run last summer.
Tic Tac received an overwhelming response when it launched the mints for a limited time last year. Social media was buzzing with tips on where to purchase the mints, as stock flew off the shelves. A search on eBay shows a three-pack of the mints for sale for $998. The next movie isn’t slated for release until 2017, but Tic Tac knew the market was hot.
The mints with printed Minions characters and a new banana flavor will arrive on shelves in May: a 60-count pack for $1.39; a jumbo 200-count pack for $3.49; and a tray of three jumbo 200-count packs $7.89.
