Appellate Court Says NYC Can Enforce Salt Warning On Menus, And More…

A New York Appellate Court has cleared the way for New York City to begin enforcing a rule requiring chain restaurants to post warnings on menu items high in sodium. The law requires city restaurants with 15 or more locations to post a salt shaker encased in a black triangle next to menu items with more than 2,300 milligrams of sodium, the daily limit recommended by the federal government.
