Weis Markets recently named William England VP of asset protection. England will oversee the day-to-day management of shrink and risk management, workplace safety, food quality assurance, insurance and workers’ compensation within Weis Markets, a Sunbury, Pennsylvania-based food retailer operating 203 stores in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Virginia and West Virginia.
England has more than 20 years of retail experience in various management roles that include store operations and asset protection.
Prior to joining Weis Markets in April, England worked for Southeastern Grocers in Jacksonville, Florida, where he was a member of the management team responsible for banner transitions for Harveys, Fresco y Más and Winn-Dixie stores in South Carolina, North Carolina and Florida.
