Rutter’s, based in York, Pennsylvania, announced that the convenience store chain has expanded the adult beverage selection with the addition of Adult Slushies.
Rutter’s Adult Slushies, currently sold at 31 Rutter’s locations, are made by freezing malt beverages into a frozen drink. They can be consumed at the store or off premise with the proper seal.
“Rutter’s is committed to understanding our customer’s needs and enhancing our offerings based on what we believe they desire,” states Robert Perkins, VP of marketing. “Incorporating adult slushies into our adult beverage business seemed like a logical addition.”
Rutter’s ran a successful test of adult slushies in the fall of 2018, and began a full roll out to all existing beer and wine locations this spring. Now, with four flavors available to customers, Rutter’s continues its role as an industry leader in the adult beverage category of convenience. As with all Adult Beverages sold at Rutter’s, Adult Slushies are only available to those 21 years of age and older.
