Food City will hold two Back-to-School Fairs in Arizona—one in Phoenix and another in Tucson, on Saturday, July 13—to give away backpacks and supplies to school-age children in need, while supplies last.
The Phoenix fair will take place from 8 a.m. to noon at NFL YET College Prep Academy at 222 E. Olympic Drive in Phoenix, and also will offer free immunizations for elementary and high school students in partnership with the Phoenix Fire Department. The fire department will also distribute pamphlets about water, smoke alarm and car seat safety.
The Tucson fair will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at the Food City Supermarket at Irvington and I-19, 1221 W. Irvington Road in Tucson, and also will feature a back-to-school raffle, with prizes like laptops and other electronic school supplies.
