Big Y Foods Opens 10th Big Y Express Gas Station

Big Y Foods Inc., headquartered in Springfield, Massachusetts, is celebrating its newest Big Y Express Gas Station and Convenience Store, located at 234 Tolland Turnpike in front of the Big Y World Class Market in Manchester, Connecticut. This is the 10th Big Y Express location and the second in Connecticut. The other nine can be found in Massachusetts in Lee, Pittsfield, Hadley, Longmeadow, Wilbraham, South Hadley, Springfield, Chicope, and in Stafford Springs, Connecticut. Big Y opened its first location in Lee, Massachusetts, in 2013.

This 2,575-s.f. location contains 10 pumping positions with 87, 89 and 93 octane fuel at every dispenser. Diesel is also available. A free air machine will be available for tire inflation at all times. Inside the store, selections will include freshly brewed coffee, milk, bread, numerous other cold beverages, candy, snacks, tobacco products, lottery and ice. Additional amenities include fresh muffins and donuts, grab-and-go sandwiches and salads, indoor and outdoor seating and free wi-fi.

Big Y’s Silver Savings Club members receive 5 cents per gallon discount with their membership cards every day. Additionally, customers will receive fuel rewards when they buy groceries from any Big Y. Currently, shoppers can purchase $50 worth of groceries and receive 15 cents off per gallon of gas, purchase $75 worth of groceries and receive 20 cents off per gallon of gas, or purchase $100 worth of groceries and receive 25 cents off per gallon of gas. Fuel rewards are loaded right to the customers’ Silver Savings Club card and can be scanned and applied at the pump or at the register.

The store will be open from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days a week, 365 days a year.
