Associated Wholesale Grocers Partners With RSA America

Kansas City, Kansas-based Associated Wholesale Grocers (AWG) has partnered with RSA America (RSA), a supermarket technology company specializing in delivering mobile rewards.

“This is a great digital solution for our member retailers and we look forward to working with RSA to deliver even more savings to consumers,” said Jeff Pedersen, EVP, chief sales and support officer, AWG. “We strive to build long-term relationships with partners such as RSA to assist our members in improving sales and increase their market share.”

RSA America’s mobile platform allows retailers real-time coupon validation and management at every touch point of the redemption process.

RSA’s single focus is to level the playing field for the independent grocer. RSA America is another option that will enable AWG member-retailers to compete and reward their customer’s loyalty and drive more sales.

AWG is the nations’ largest cooperative food wholesaler to independently owned supermarkets, serving more than 1,000 member companies and over 3,800 locations throughout 36 states from eight full-line wholesale divisions. The consolidated run-rate sales for AWG are approximately $9.7 billion.
