Diamond Crystal Brands Introduces Better-For-You Condiments

Diamond Crystal Brand new condiments

Diamond Crystal Brands, headquartered in Savannah, Georgia, has introduced three flavors to its Flavor Fresh, Better-For-You condiment line: Chick’n Dippin’ Sauce, Hot Honey and Hot Mustard.

Chick’n Dippin’ Sauce is a blend of honey mustard with a smoky barbecue packaged in a 1-oz. cup. Hot Honey is a combination of honey and chilies with a syrup-like consistency in a 9g packet. Hot Mustard is an Asian-inspired condiment with a spicy tang and thick texture in a 5.5g packet.

These single-serve products are part of a Better-For-You commitment from Diamond Crystal Brands for more healthful condiments for foodservice. They are low sodium, gluten-free and 0g trans-fat offerings, with no high-fructose corn syrup, artificial colors or flavors and no added MSG. It is restaurant-quality flavor that meets USDA nutritional guidelines for K-12 schools.

“Customers are looking for better, bolder and more choices when it comes to on-the-go menu solutions. Crafting delicious, quality-ingredient sauces to accompany center-of-the-plate items is one of the things we do best. We’re evolving with the changing tastes, offering an extensive line of trendy condiments that provide needed options and sets us apart from competitors. We are seeing a positive reaction in the industry,” said Steve Cohn, director of marketing.

The three new portion-control condiments, teased during this year’s National Restaurant Show, NACUFS and SNA Annual National Conference, are now available and are sold through foodservice, convenience and micro-market distributors.

Diamond Crystal Brands is a company specializing in right-size packaging, wet and dry-blended products and custom printing. The product portfolio includes brands such as Café Delight, Chef’s Companion and Flavor Fresh, as well as licensed properties.
