Lakeland, Florida-based Publix has been named one of the 2019 Best Workplaces in Retail by Fortune, ranking No. 2.
More than 339,000 retail employees across the U.S. were surveyed by Great Place to Work on their experiences with their companies, including effectiveness of leaders, company values and ability to reach their full potential.
With more than 1,200 stores across seven states, Publix retail associates named community contributions, quality facilities and welcoming atmosphere as reasons they enjoy working for the company.
