Milford, Indiana-based Sandra’s all natural chicken brand has added new products to its premium stuffed chicken entree line. The latest flavor additions are Cordon Bleu and Broccoli & Swiss, which offer high protein ingredients like uncured ham and real cheese in traditional flavors.
The premium stuffed chicken breast products are made from chicken raised cage-free without antibiotics and feature whole grain breading and no preservatives. The frozen raw entrees are oven-ready and designed to be clean label for nutrition-conscious consumers.
“The premium antibiotic-free products were developed based on the original Sandra’s flavors,” said Marketing Manager Alicia Mort. “We targeted three superfoods in our first three offerings: quinoa, kale and cauliflower, and blended them with quality cheeses and other nutrient-dense ingredients like chia seeds and spinach. The result is meal solutions that taste great with many nutritional advantages versus competitive brands.”
Sandra’s premium chicken entree line now includes five flavor varieties, including Cauliflower & Chia, Quinoa & Veggie, Kale & Pepperjack, Cordon Bleu and Broccoli & Swiss. The entrees are available in 12-ounce cartons containing two 6-ounce portions.
In addition to offering innovation to the stuffed chicken breast entree category, Sandra’s brand is committed to environmental stewardship and has launched a unique sustainability campaign to encourage consumers to upcycle and reuse product packaging to reduce waste.
“Sustainability is very important to us,” said Mort. “We’ve incorporated fun, reusable items inside product boxes and developed the #UpcycleWithSandras social media campaign to invite consumers to join in our sustainability efforts. They also have the opportunity to win cash prizes by collecting letter tabs to spell the brand name.”
