Mom’s Organic Market To Open Sept. 4 In Abington, PA

Family owned and operated Mom’s Organic Market opens its fourth store in the Philadelphia region in Abington, Pennsylvania, on Friday, Sept. 4.
The new store features:

  • Only the highest quality, Certified Organic produce;
  • A 265-kilowatt system rooftop solar array – generating approximately 40 percent of the stores’ energy needs;
  • 10-ft. wide aisles (allowing plenty of room for social distancing);
  • Sustainable insect proteins;
  • Backyard Beekeeping section with all the tools needed to sustain these crucial pollinators at home;
  • Fast and free electric car charging stations (SemaConnect Level III);
  • Only sustainable seafood (right down to the canned tuna);
  • Wide variety of GOTS certified organic and sustainable clothing;
  • A recycling center for compost, eyeglasses, cell phones and household batteries; and
  • Expansive Health & Wellness section.

Mom’s does not allow products to target children with licensed cartoon characters on the package.

Five percent of Mom’s Abington opening week sales will go to Delaware Riverkeeper Network.
