JSL Foods, a manufacturer of fresh, refrigerated, pre-cooked Asian Noodles and Asian Wrappers, has appointed Brad Wyllie to the position of director of grocery retail sales east. Wyllie will be based in Bonita Springs, Florida, and will be responsible for managing customer relations and business development in the Eastern half of the U.S.
He comes to JSL Foods with 25 years of proven sales experience in the retail food category with the last 16 years as director of retail sales eastern division at Litehouse Foods.
As director of grocery retail sales east, Wyllie will be responsible for supporting current customers with business building programs in the fast-growing produce and meat alternative sections of the grocery store. The product line includes Fortune Noodles and Twin Dragon Wrappers. Fortune Noodles have a 70 percent share of the fresh noodle category in the U.S. and Twin Dragon Wrappers are the second largest fresh Asian wrapper in unit sales in the U.S.
Twin Dragon Wrappers are the only Non-GMO Verified, Vegan Certified and organic wrappers in the United States. Both Fortune and Twin Dragon brands are responsible for double digit growth in their categories in 2020.
Besides his sales responsibilities, Wyllie also will manage, develop and train an East Coast broker network, execute business growth strategies including social media, promotional calendars, couponing and consumer recipe contests.
