The makers of Herdez brand salsa have announced the launch of two new varieties in the Herdez Taqueria Street Sauce line – Avocado Cilantro and Cilantro Lime.

“Following the successful introduction of the line in 2018, we’ve been hard at work perfecting the next additions,” said Giselle Olson, brand manager.

“We’re playing into crave-worthy ingredients that are reminiscent of an authentic taqueria experience and have bottled it up in our latest sauces. They taste incredible on tacos.”

According to recent data, avocado is the third-fastest growing Mexican flavor. Furthermore, cilantro lime sauces and flavors are continuing to pop up on menus nationwide.

The Herdez Taqueria Street Sauce line, which pays homage to the simplicity of street tacos, can be used atop any tacos, burritos and salads.

The Avocado Cilantro sauce features cilantro and avocado together in a tangy fusion that can spice up steak and carnitas tacos.

The Cilantro Lime sauce offers freshness from the lime and cilantro combination and can add zing to chicken and shrimp tacos.

Taqueria Street Sauce line also includes Original Roja, Original Verde, Habanero and Smoky Chipotle. They are available in 9-ounce plastic squeeze bottles at an SRP of $3.59-$3.99.

According to the company, the Herdez brand allows consumers to experience the real flavor and culture of Mexico at home with authentic salsas and sauces. It is the top selling salsa brand in Mexico and the leading authentic Mexican salsa brand in homes across the U.S.

Known for products such as Herdez Salsa Verde, Salsa Casera and the original Guacamole Salsa, the brand is founded on authenticity in flavor and quality. The brand is part of MegaMex Foods, one of the fastest growing Mexican food companies in the U.S. focused on reimagining Mexican flavor.
