The owner of Colorado Green Chili and King’s Chef Diner reports increased sales and distribution of its jarred condiment. Created in 2008, Colorado Green Chili first gained international fame with an appearance in a feature on The Food Network. It is now carried in more than 700 retail outlets throughout nine states within stores such as Natural Grocers, Whole Foods and King Soopers.

The company has reported online sales of its jarred green chili across all 50 states for the eighth year in a row. The company celebrated online sales to consumers in 25 countries in 2021. Since the brand was launched, the organization has sold more than 900,000 individual jars of green chili, making it one of the most popular jarred green chili brands in the world.

Colorado Green Chili is manufactured and packaged in Colorado Springs and the organization holds both an FDA and USDA licensing that allows the company to make a large variety of chilis, salsas, soups and several additional products for national distribution.

“We are very proud of the success Colorado Green Chili has experienced over the past eight years,” said Gary Geiser, owner of Colorado Green Chili and King’s Chef Diner. “The brand’s success only acts as motivation for our entire team to expand upon our internal goals and spend 2022 working diligently to increase distribution to new states and retail outlets.”

The organization also recently reopened its iconic purple castle, built in 1956, in downtown Colorado Springs to great fanfare after many months of being closed to the public due to COVID-19.

“King’s Chef has taken great pride in offering a delicious and unique food experience to diners since 1956, and we are so grateful to the people of Colorado for the continued support of our diners and Colorado Green Chili,” Geiser said.

In addition, the organization re-opened its second location (also, after a hiatus due to COVID) this past June.
