The new Amazon Fresh store in Seattle, Washington, located at 2301 S. Jackson St., will open on Aug. 12. This will be the second Amazon Fresh store to open in the Seattle area and the first in the Central District.

To celebrate the grand opening, customers can visit the store on opening day for product giveaways, free samples, activities for kids and a chance to win Amazon gift cards.

The Jackson Street store brings hundreds of  jobs to the community, which offer industry-leading pay starting at $17 per hour and a variety of benefits packages that start on the employee’s first day on the job. Amazon also has worked with the Central District community, the Central Area Neighborhood District Council and local food banks leading up to the store opening to ensure that the Amazon Fresh Seattle-Jackson store is contributing to the community that it’s serving.

“We’re thrilled to bring the first Amazon Fresh grocery store in Seattle to the Central District, providing customers with a wide selection of low-priced, high-quality fresh foods and a convenient in-store shopping experience,” said David Nielson, regional manager of Amazon Fresh grocery stores. “We’re proud that this store has brought hundreds of great jobs to the area, and we are committed to continuing to contribute positively to the community.”

Amazon Fresh offers a seamless grocery shopping experience, whether customers are shopping in-store or online.
