Cardenas Markets Kicks Off Annual Photo Contest

Ontario, California-based Cardenas Markets, one of the largest Hispanic grocery chains in the country, has opened its annual La Catrina Mas Catrina photo submission contest.

Through Nov. 2, submissions will be accepted through the company’s website. Entrants are encouraged to submit a selfie with La Catrina style sugar skull make-up for a chance to win up to $500 in Cardenas Market gift cards.

“Connecting culture and community is at the core of our business, and a legacy that we have honored for over four decades,” said Adam Salgado, chief marketing officer for Cardenas Markets. “This contest underscores the company’s commitment to providing the most authentic offerings, freshest products and meaningful experiences that celebrate life, the Hispanic culture and its rich traditions.”
