Spindrift Spiked Wins Top Award In Double Blind Taste Test

Newton, Massachusetts-based Spindrift Spiked, the first new product innovation in beverage alcohol from Spindrift, has won best of show at the 2021 Canned Challenge.

Spindrift Spiked is a lightly carbonated hard sparkling water made with only real ingredients, alcohol from sugar cane and no synthetic natural flavors, sweeteners or additives. Spindrift Spiked is available in a 12-pack variety at 82-95 calories and 4 percent ABV per 12-oz. can with four flavors: Pineapple, Mango, Lime and Half & Half.

Based in Denver, Colorado, the 2021 Canned Challenge is a tasting competition with a panel of industry professionals including master sommeliers, directors and retailers. Entered into the hard seltzer category of the 2021 Canned Challenge, all four Spindrift Spiked flavors won accolades, including Best of Show for Half & Half, gold for Pineapple, and two silvers for Lime and Mango.
