KitKat Brand Kicks Off New Year With Two New Flavors

Hershey, Pennsylvania-based KitKat has released two new products: KitKat Duos Strawberry and Dark Chocolate and KitKat Chocolate Hazelnut THiNS.

“A new year is always a chance to try new things, so what better way to start than by releasing new flavors,” said Dan Williard, brand manager.

“There’s nothing more classic than KitKat wafers and chocolate, but KitKat Duos Strawberry + Dark Chocolate and KitKat THiNS Chocolate Hazelnut bring fresh takes,” he said.

The Duos Strawberry + Dark Chocolate flavor combines the sweet taste of strawberry with the rich flavor of dark chocolate in the KitKat Duos third generation bar. This fruit-inspired KitKat bar tastes like a chocolate-covered strawberry and will be available in both standard and king size.

The Chocolate Hazelnut also joins the existing THiNS lineup, which slims down the original wafer into a thinner treat. The company’s THiNS Chocolate Hazelnut adds a hazelnut flavor to a crispy version that launched last year. This new item will be available in both 3.1 oz. and 7.37 oz. bags.

Both new items are available at retailers nationwide and are permanent additions to the lineup.

The Hershey Co., owner of the KitKat brand, is a snacks company for more than 90 brands such as Hershey’s, Reese’s, KitKat, Jolly Rancher, Ice Breakers, SkinnyPop, and Pirate’s Booty. Hershey has approximately 17,000 employees around the world.

For more than 125 years, Hershey has been committed to operating fairly, ethically and sustainably. Hershey founder, Milton Hershey, created the Milton Hershey School in 1909 and since then the company has focused on helping children succeed.
