SIAL America Makes Its U.S. Debut; Endorsed By USDA

SIAL America, the first-of-its-kind cross-category generalist food and beverage show, will make its U.S. debut on March 22-24 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas. The show will host domestic and international exhibitors, including Butterball, Stonewall Kitchen, California Milk Advisory Board and Star Snacks.

Attending will be key importers, foodservice companies, distributors, retailers, wholesalers and restaurateurs looking to discover, innovate and learn. SIAL America supports the U.S. $1.5 trillion food and beverage market. The event will take place concurrent to Emerald’s International Pizza Expo. 

A collaboration between international trade show organizers, Emerald and Comexposium, SIAL America will make its debut SIAL show in the United States, joining 10 world-class food events across the globe and feature exhibitors from meat, dairy and multiple other product categories.

In acknowledgment of SIAL’s long-standing reputation as a premier event host for the food and beverage industry, the United States Department of Agriculture made the rare move of endorsing the inaugural edition of SIAL America. 

“We are thrilled to create a new platform to connect and deliver actionable opportunities to the entire food and beverage industry,” said Jessica Blue, EVP of Emerald.

“Partnering with Comexposium marks an important milestone for both organizations as we collectively work to bring a new edition of the SIAL global food brand to life in Las Vegas,” said Blue.

The show will also host international exhibitors from Turkey, Argentina, Canada and Brazil and feature matchmaking services to connect like-minded businesses.

Food insight and education sessions will include, “Cheese Sustainability,” The Era of Food on Demand,” “Benefits of Meat DNA Testing” and “Beverage Trends in 2022,” will be moderated by industry thought leaders. Attendees will have the opportunity to attend demonstrations within an expansive food innovation zone on the show floor. 

In accordance with guidance from the state of Nevada and the World Health Organization, SIAL America has implemented additional health and safety measures to ensure the safest possible environment for attendees to conduct business effectively.

Furthering its commitment to creating a safe, comfortable and informative event experience, SIAL America will have an increased number of health and safety ambassadors throughout the venue to ensure guidelines are being followed and provide masks to guests who may need one.

Vaccinated attendees are encouraged but not required to wear masks at SIAL AmericaUnvaccinated attendees are required to wear a face mask at all times and maintain appropriate social distancing.
