Super 1 Foods leaders and city officials gathered Aug. 3 for a grand opening ceremony to commemorate the new Super 1 Foods store in Jacksonville, Texas.
During the ceremony, Brad Brookshire, chairman and CEO, presented a donation of $10,000 to the Jacksonville Fire and Police Departments.
“We are very excited to be a part of the Jacksonville community and to be celebrating the grand opening of our Super 1 Foods store,” Brookshire said. “We’ve selected a great team, led by Store Director Chris Belt, to provide outstanding service for our customers. The welcoming from the Jacksonville community has been incredible, and we look forward to many years ahead serving our neighbors.”
Super 1 Foods operates full-scale supermarkets offering products for less. It buys truckloads from distributors and passes the savings on to customers. The store features a fuel center, a pharmacy with a drive-thru window, curbside service and a full-service coffee bar, along with bakery, deli and meat departments. The store also offers beer and wine, floral and produce departments.
This location will be the company’s 49th location under the Super 1 Foods banner and has added 150 jobs for the Jacksonville community.
