Salt Lake City, Utah-based Associated Food Stores has named two new EVPs, following the recent appointment of David Rice as president and CEO of the 82-year-old company.
Justin Atwater, who also serves as general counsel, and Travis Boman, who serves as CFO, have added EVP to their titles.

Atwater and Boman join Roger White, EVP and COO, in making up the executive committee for the company and will work closely with Rice to drive the wholesaler’s key initiatives and projects.
Atwater joined Associated Food Stores in 2020. Prior to joining AFS, Atwater served as the inaugural director of the Utah Lands Trust Protection and Advocacy Office and general counsel to Utah’s highest volume retail and commercial development firm.
Boman has been with Associated Food Stores for more than 16 years and worked previously for Deloitte & Touche in Salt Lake City as a manager in the firm’s audit and assurance services practice.
