LOC Software delivers solutions designed to allow more frequent, profitable and manageable transactions. The Canada-based company is “gearing up for a huge 2023,” according to Rene Stai, head of marketing.

“Our ePOS offer is in the pipeline, allowing for a web-based point of sale. Our teams have been working hard to provide next generation solutions to our retailers,” she said.

The company also is continuing to enhance and streamline its eSuite offer, “making for an easy to use yet highly flexible product for all users in the retail sector,” she said.

LOC Software offers products for the grocery, convenience, pharmacy and specialty industries. It is planning to share its solutions at several shows this year, including NRF 2023 and the NGA Show.

What differentiates LOC Software from its competitors is “flexibility, plain and simple,” Stai said. “We offer a software suite that, combined with our vast certified reseller network, provides a solution that fits any grocer’s business. We partner with vendors to allow for innovative solutions that just make sense.”

Stai said LOC Software offers independent grocers the full software suite to run their businesses effectively and smartly.

“With real time financials that can be accessed anywhere to customizations that will set them apart from the big box stores, LOC Software can fit the needs of any grocer, from one lane to 1,000 lanes,” she said.

“Since our solution is one fully connected platform, grocers can have confidence that data is accurate from start to finish. What I mean by this is, retailers can track their product from ordering to selling. It’s really the whole life span of the product from purchase to selling it.”

LOC Software partnered with Blackhawk Network in 2022 to offer touch-free mobile payments. Stai said the company is “delighted” with the partnership, which gives retailers the ability for touch-free mobile payments such as Venmo and PayPal.

In a press release announcing the partnership, Helena Mao, VP of global product strategy at Blackhawk Network, said the goal was to ensure “retailers are providing consumers with a convenient and seamless experience.”

“Blackhawk has developed a robust API solution that enables easy integration with digital wallets and payments solutions,” she said. “Working with LOC Software will give our partners rapid integration to better deliver the technology of multiple wallets as part of our digital payments promise for customers.”

Francois Labelle, product director at LOC Software, said the partnership with Blackhawk Network “will enable us to bring this technology to retail customers for their everyday purchases and provide retailers with new ways to engage their customers.”
