Beaver Street will be returning to the Seafood Expo North America Show for the first time in three years due to COVID-19 restrictions.

“We are so excited to be returning to the Seafood Expo,” said Bluzette Carline, director of marketing.

“We’ve been participating in this show for more than 20 years, and it’s always one of the highlights of the year for us. We are proud to be unveiling brand new packaging for our shrimp, scallops and shellfish lines that really show off the quality, sustainability and ease of preparation of our products – things that today’s consumers want and need.”

Lloyd Carter, director of operations, said, “We’ve ramped up onsite technologies and innovations for our new skin-packaging lines within our footprint by installing control points on an automated line. This new technology gives us wider capabilities for fresh and frozen product to be packaged and sold in clear skin packs. The package is the first thing consumers see, and this type of packaging gives us the ability to immediately communicate to our customers the premium quality of our products and the care that goes into our delivery of them.”

Sea Best is a brand of Beaver Street Fisheries Inc., a family-owned and operated company that began about 70 years ago in Jacksonville. The seafood brand offers a line of frozen fish fillets, including premium varieties (ahi tuna, mahi, grouper and snapper), value varieties (cod, catfish and whiting), value-added and breaded seafood (stuffed clams, shrimp, calamari and scallops) and shellfish (lobster and crab).
