Bravo Supermarkets has opened a new store at 8585 SW Road in Ocala, Florida.
The new Bravo Supermarket offers more than 17,800 square feet of a reimagined grocery experience for Ocala and the surrounding communities. Doors opened at 7 a.m. on March 3 and a grand opening celebration will be announced soon.
The new location will be part of an ongoing expansion outside the traditional metro New York neighborhoods where the brand was established in 1975. Each store stocks products that meet its customers’ needs, and the supermarket will acquire the largest selection of international food items in the area to date.
“I am extremely excited and proud to be opening my first Florida Bravo store here in Ocala,” said Jose Jorge, store owner.
“From what began as a dream when I was a child and visiting a Bravo in Brooklyn, New York, to fulfilling that wish and bringing it to the beautiful city of Ocala. My goal is to provide the community with as much variety as possible so everyone can buy affordable food to recreate family recipes from all corners of the world.”
Customers can expect hot food to be served in its kitchens daily, with the option of delivery to local residences. Partnering with Instacart, Grubhub, Uber Eats and DoorDash, this Bravo Supermarket will be convenient and accessible to a large perimeter of the Ocala area.

Bravo Supermarkets are independently-owned and operated grocery stores. Since establishing the banner in 1991 in New York City, it has grown throughout the northeastern U.S. and expanded into the Florida market in 2003. With more than 100 locations, Bravo Supermarkets is looking forward to continued growth.
