Wakefern Launches Live Tracking For Online Delivery

Customers ordering groceries online at more than 200 ShopRite and The Fresh Grocer locations can now track their orders live thanks to a partnership between Keasbey, New Jersey-based Wakefern Food Corp. and Delivery Solutions.

The real-time online delivery visibility features, through a platform offered by Delivery Solutions, improve efficiency and ensure quality, according to Wakefern.

Customers who use the “Order.Pickup.Deliver.” service through ShopRite and The Fresh Grocer can use the live tracking feature to pinpoint and track their online home deliveries. They will receive a series of messaging including “out for delivery” and “delivered,” along with a link for tracking.

Live tracking also offers shoppers the ability to provide feedback on their delivery experience through a survey feature.

“Our customers rely on us to provide them with the highest level of service and convenience, and our live tracking page is another example of how we are fulfilling that commitment,” said Elizabeth Goodbread, Wakefern’s director of digital commerce and analytics.

“We are proud to work with Delivery Solutions to leverage this technology and enhance our online shopping service at ShopRite and The Fresh Grocer stores.”
