BJ’s Wholesale Club plans to open its 37th location in Florida on Jan. 12 with the debut of a store at 12884 City Center Blvd. in North Jacksonville.

BJ’s offers members savings on fresh foods, produce, full-service deli items, bakery goods, household essentials, home décor and pet supplies.

The North Jacksonville club will have a BJ’s Gas location, with the opportunity to earn extra savings through the BJ’s Fuel Saver Program.

“We’re excited to start the new year by providing unbeatable value and convenience to North Jacksonville,” said Tom Condon, club manager of the North Jacksonville club.

“Our mission is to serve the families who depend on us by delivering up to 25 percent off grocery store prices every day.”

BJ’s is partnering with Feeding Northeast Florida, a food bank that serves Jacksonville, with weekly donations of unsold produce and meat and dairy items.

“We’re grateful to kick off the new year by deepening our partnership with BJ’s Wholesale Club,” said Susan King, president and CEO of the food bank.

“We thank BJ’s for helping provide the nourishment families need to thrive.”

BJ’s has partnered with Feeding America and its network of food banks for more than 15 years, providing more than 125 million meals.

The company also has donated more than $40,000 to fund classroom projects in 55 Jacksonville area schools. BJ’s Charitable Foundation works with DonorsChoose, a national nonprofit, to help meet needs for classroom supplies.

North Jacksonville shoppers can join the new club with BJ’s limited-time founding member offer available through Jan. 11. New members can sign up for The Club Card Membership at $25 for one year with BJ’s Easy Renewal or The Club+ Card Membership at $70 for one year.

To sign up, go online at BJs.com/NorthJacksonville or visit the membership center at 13141 City Station Drive, Suite 143, in Jacksonville.
