ECRS Appoints Parsons As Product Owner Of Self-Service

Boone, North Carolina-based ECRS has appointed John Parsons as the product owner of self-service.

Parsons brings with him a successful history in the information technology and services industry, with expertise in retail, customer relationship management, IT service management, management and account management.

Having accumulated 47 years of experience in retail automation and store systems, Parsons’s career includes 18 years dedicated to consulting with Fortune 500 retailers on their self-checkout needs.

“We are thrilled to welcome John Parsons on board as the product owner of self-service at ECRS,” said Pete Catoe, founder and CEO of ECRS.

“His wealth of experience and deep understanding of the retail industry will be instrumental in providing expertise to the CATAPULT community of retailers, allowing them to stay at the forefront of self-service technology.”

In his new role, Parsons will spearhead ECRS in providing self-service solutions to empower retailers on their journey to success. His responsibilities will include consulting with retailers, identifying their needs and steering ECRS’s development initiatives to deliver self-service solutions within the industry.

“We’re also in the process of developing some really transformative solutions that I’ll be excited to share with retailers at the Ignite Retail Success Conference this summer.”
