Instacart’s Foodstorm Partners With 7 Independent Grocers

Foodstorm Instacart

FoodStorm – Instacart’s order management system (OMS) designed to help grocers manage their deli, prepared foods and catering – is being adopted by seven independent grocers.

The seven grocers are:

  • Dave’s Fresh Marketplace, the largest local and independent retailer in Rhode Island.
  • Delucchi’s Market, a specialty market and delicatessen rooted in Redwood City.
  • FreshTake, a new grocery story concept by the operators of Little Giant Farmers Market of the Atlanta area.
  • Foodtown and Green Way Market of Cross River, local favorites in the Tri-State area.
  • il Mercato di Che Fico, a new specialty Italian market opening its doors in Menlo Park.
  • Johnny Pomodoro’s Fresh Market, a family-owned grocer in the heart of Michigan.

For customers shopping, this means a more seamless experience as they pre-order and track their turkeys, deli meats, fully prepared meals, party platters and cakes, among others.

“As the largest independent retailer in Rhode Island, we’re thrilled to embark on a new chapter of digital transformation in our prepared foods and catering business with FoodStorm,” Dave’s Fresh Marketplace shared.

“We’re excited about integrating its customer-friendly OMS into our processes, offering detailed reporting features that will elevate the quality of our meals services. We look forward to seeing how FoodStorm will help us continue to serve our community with even greater efficiency and creativity.”

With FoodStorm deployed in more than 700 stores across North America, Instacart has evolved beyond just a catering OMS. Its technology has become a critical component in retailers’ stores, aligning with its goal of digitizing every store perimeter counter with FoodStorm.
