Franklin Foods is introducing the industry’s first Greek spreadable cheese. Made with a combination of farm fresh dairy and Greek yogurt, Green Mountain Farms Greek Spreadable Cheese is made in small batches in Enosburg Falls, Vt. Green Mountain Farms Greek Spreadable Cheese delivers three times the protein and 50 percent less fat than traditional spreadable cheese, plus live and active cultures, Franklin Foods says. The product is available in Cucumber Garlic, Garlic & Herb, Roasted Red Pepper and Sundried Tomato.

“We are thrilled to launch our new Greek Spreadable Cheese just in time for summer,” says Rocco Cardinale, VP of Franklin Foods West. “This summer, picnics, parties, camp and brunches just got a whole lot easier and more deliciously wholesome with three times the protein and half the fat than ever before, plus live and active cultures; we are not only reinventing cream cheese but also summer eating.”

“Greek yogurt has gained tremendous popularity because of its rich, high-in-protein delicious flavor,” says Franklin Foods CEO Jon Gutknecht. “We are thrilled to offer more healthy and wholesome choices and expand Greek yogurt’s reach in the dairy case of the supermarket with the launch of the industry’s First Greek Spreadable Cheese from Green Mountain Farms.”

Green Mountain Farms Greek Spreadable Cheese is available in 6.5-oz. containers and located in the dairy and refrigerated deli sections. SRP: $3.99-$4.59.
