Industry To Unite At NECSEMA Show On March 22

“What’s Your Brand” is the theme of the New England Convenience Store & Energy Marketers Association (NECSEMA) 2017 Trade Show, which will be held at the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts, on March 22.

This will the second year of the show, which formed after the merger of the New England Convenience Store Association and Independent Oil Marketers of New England.

“We are positioning the show as the premier show for c-stores and the energy marketplace,” said Lisa Lawinger Brown, NECSEMA director of marketing.

The trade show is expected to draw nearly 100 exhibitors; exhibit floor hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. A New Product Showcase will appear on the chow floor this year, and a lounge will provide exhibitors maximum exposure to all decision makers, according to NECSEMA. Attendance is free for retailers, store operators and wholesale energy operators and buyers.

Other show highlights will include deals, sample bags to fill with products as well as prizes, giveaways and drawings. The grand prize will be a trip for two. There also will be free educational sessions at 9 a.m.

Jeff Dzierzanowski of Source North America Corp. will speak. Source is one of the largest fueling equipment distributors in the U.S., and Dzierzanowski will discuss the country’s current fueling storage infrastructure and bio fuels compatibility.

The day before the show, NECSEMA will host Top to Top meetings, private 20-minute meetings between 12 key retail companies and 12 manufacturers to review new opportunities, products and services.

Also on March 21, NECSEMA will host an awards dinner, at which time the 2016 Store Operator Award winners will be announced. The program begins at 5:30 p.m. with a cocktail hour; dinner and the program begins at 6:30 p.m.
