Simply Eight Launches New Product Line

Last updated on June 13th, 2024 at 12:04 pm

Simply Eight announced Aug. 2 the launch of its new breakfast and snack food line in D&Ws and VG’s grocery stores owned and operated by Michigan-based Spartan Stores. The new line of cookies and chewy granola bars contain just eight or less all-natural ingredients.

The new food is part of Simply Eight’s ongoing commitment to provide breakfast and snack food products free of artificial preservatives, artificial flavors, artificial colors, hydrogenated oils, High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS), Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) and trans fats.

Simply Eight is starting its product line with four breakfast and snack food products: Real Chocolate Chip Chewy Granola Bars, Real Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Chewy Granola Bars, Real Chocolate Chip Cookies, and Real Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Each of these products contains only eight or fewer of the following ingredients: whole wheat flour, whole oats, brown sugar, honey, rice crisps, chocolate chips, canola oil, vanilla extract, peanut butter, vegetable shortening, baking powder, eggs, baking powder, and salt.

Starting in August 2011, consumers can find the Simply Eight products in select Spartan Stores—specifically VG’s and D&W Fresh Markets stores in Brighton, Burton, Caro, Clio, Davison, Fenton, Genesee, Howell, Marine City, New Baltimore, North Fenton, Owosso, Pontiac, Shelby Township, Sterling Heights, Waterford and West Flint.
