Leading retail supermarket chains in the northeast are now stocking shelves at Stop & Shop, Giant and Martin’s with CoolJuice, a 100 percent juice blend that contains no preservatives, dyes or artificial ingredients. This distribution growth marks another major breakthrough for the all-natural, chilled juice beverage company.
Shoppers can purchase CoolJuice in over 750 Stop & Shop New England, Stop & Shop New York Metro, Giant Landover, Giant Carlisle and Martin’s, which includes areas of Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, District of Columbia, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
Robert Paladino, co-founder of CoolJuice, is a former PepsiCo. executive who graduated from West Virginia University and also attended the Columbia Business School’s executive development program. Paladino co-founded CoolJuice with George Gamble in 2006 in an effort to help tackle childhood obesity by providing a healthier alternative to juice drinks, which often include high fructose corn syrup (HFCS), preservatives and artificial flavors and dyes.
According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES), childhood obesity affects approximately 12.5 million children and adolescents ages 2-19. CoolJuice provides two fruit servings in every 8-oz. glass.
