Bay Area Safeways Carrying ‘Killer Bread’

Last updated on June 13th, 2024 at 12:03 pm

Portland, Ore.-based Dave’s Killer Bread, known for its healthy seeded breads and cinnamon rolls, is expanding throughout Northern California.

According to a statement released by the private company on Sept. 19, all the Safeway stories in the San Francisco and San Jose areas were expected to start carrying the breads, as of Sept. 15. The four popular labels to look for include: Good Seed, 21 Whole Grains (my personal favorite), Powerseed and Blues breads.

The company was founded by Dave Dahl, his brother Glenn Dahl and nephew Shobi Dahl in 2005.
