Whole Foods Finally Opening In Pembroke Pines, Fla.

It’s been more than a year since the sign went up, but now residents of Pembroke Pines, Fla., are finally going to get a Whole Foods Market, the South Florida Business Journal reports.

The Austin, Texas-based natural and organic food retailer is opening a 35,000-s.f. store at the western tip of Cobblestone Plaza, at Pines Boulevard and Northwest 115th Avenue, on Wednesday, March 28.

The grand opening celebration will feature a free continental breakfast from 8-9 a.m., followed by a ribbon cutting.

This is Whole Foods’ 11th South Florida store and its 17th in Florida.

Whole Foods also plans to open a 37,000-s.f. store at the Metropolitan Miami development.
