Nestlé is introducing new Halloween candy novelties and packs. SweeTarts Skulls & Bones, Nestle Crunch Pumpkins, and Butterfinger Pumpkins offer a nod to the holiday. Nestlé’s largest candy variety bag on the market this year is new Wonka Trickster Treats. Chock full of Wonka favorites, such as SweeTarts Laffy Taffy, Gobstopper and Spree candy, fans will find 425 individually wrapped pieces inside. Wonka Trickster Treats are available exclusively at Target and Walmart.
“Halloween is hot,” said Tricia Bowles of Nestle Confections & Snacks. “It’s a fast-growing season in terms of candy sales. Moms are making holiday plans weeks in advance and buying candy well ahead of the season.
“Specialty treats and value top the list of must haves and now, more than ever, bagged variety candy is in demand,” she added.
Nestlé USA has announced a number of new items for snacking, decorating and stocking up for the throngs of Halloween trick-o-treaters, as well as its largest variety bag on the market for Halloween 2012.
• New SweeTarts Skulls & Bones : For a bone-afied good time, try the SweeTarts Skulls & Bones now in a loose-filled bag for decorating, snacking and baking. Colorful SweeTarts Skulls & Bones smack of that familiar sweet-and-tart kick in fun skull and bone shapes. Each package contains Orange, Green Apple and Grape flavors. (12 oz., SRP: $2.50).
• Wonka Trickster Treats : Be the most popular house on the block with the ultra-convenient Wonka Trickster Treats variety bag.
