Nature’s Own Breads Arrive In The Northeast

Nature's Own image

Nature’s Own bread is now available throughout the Northeast in select supermarkets and grocery retail stores. New Nature’s Own markets include Boston and Springfield, Mass.; Providence, R.I.; Hartford, Conn.; Portland, Maine; Manchester, N.H.; and Albany, N.Y.

Nature’s Own breads in the Northeast are baked by Lepage Bakeries in Auburn, Maine, and delivered fresh to stores every day. With more than 100 years of baking experience, Lepage is best known for the popular Country Kitchen and Barowsky’s brands of fresh breads, rolls, buns and organic items.

“We couldn’t be more excited to bring America’s most popular bread brand—Nature’s Own—to New England,” said Mike McCall, president of Lepage Bakeries. “Nature’s Own breads are baked with the same fine ingredients and care as our Country Kitchen and Barowsky’s products, but have their own unique flavor, texture and healthy attributes. They are wholesome and taste great.”

Nature’s Own offers a selection of fresh breads and buns that are made with no artificial preservatives, colors, flavors or high fructose corn syrup.

McCall noted that Nature’s Own distribution is still growing in the Northeast.

“If people don’t see Nature’s Own in their favorite supermarket bread aisle, they should mention it to the store manager, and check again on their next shopping trip as distribution will continue to expand over the next few months,” he said.

Some of the Nature’s Own products now available in the Northeast include:

• Nature’s Own Honey Wheat, Nature’s Own 100% Whole Wheat and Nature’s Own Whitewheat.

Nature’s Own breads and buns are now available in select Hannaford, Walmart and Demoulas/Market Basket stores, among others in the region.
