Lorelei DiSogra, United Fresh, spoke about the great success of the “Let’s Move Salad Bars to Schools” program with the Unified School Districts. Dick Spezzano took the microphone and asked the room to speak with their wallets for a passion close to his heart. Within minutes he raised $28,900 for the Salad Bar program. One salad bar in a school costs $2,640 (www.saladbars2schools.org).

With a silent auction and live auction led by Bill Laliberte, Kent Kuwata and guest auctioneer Frankie Avalon, FPFC raised $58,505 for charities including Wounded Warrior Project (WWP). WWP’s mission is to foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation’s history.
