L.A. Creamery Artisan Ice Cream is releasing only 50 cases of its small-batch limited-edition Rosh Hashanah flavor honoring the Jewish New Year and ice cream lovers. The handcrafted and hand-packed ice cream will be sold this year exclusively at eight Bristol Farms Markets beginning Saturday: Beverly Hills/West Hollywood, Santa Monica, Hollywood, South Pasadena, Westchester, Westwood, Manhattan Beach and Newport Beach. Pints retail for $6.99.
Umami Burger founder/CEO Adam Fleischman acquired an ownership stake in L.A. Creamery, bringing his creative culinary talents to frozen treats as well as his innovative vision of the food industry. Fleischman partnered with L.A. Creamery to bring the best ice cream in Los Angeles to the world, according to the company.
“L.A. Creamery is the modern artisanal successor to brands like Ben & Jerry’s and Haagen-Dazs,” says Fleischman.
L.A. Creamery Artisan Ice Cream is based in Chatsworth, Calif., and currently manufactures 10 flavors of all-natural ice creams that contain no high fructose corn syrup, no rBGH/rBST or added hormones and no artificial colors. L.A. Creamery currently is sold in luxury hotels and resorts, both on room service menus and in hotel restaurants
Gourmet market clients include: Bristol Farms, Gelson’s, Vicente Foods in Brentwood, The Oaks Gourmet in Hollywood, Pacific Coast Greens in Malibu, Artisan House in downtown Los Angeles, Manhattan Market in Manhattan Beach and Monsieur Marcel in Beverly Hills, as well as restaurants throughout Southern California. L.A. Creamery’s Gourmet Ice Cream Sandwiches are sold at all SoCal Umami Burger locations. L.A. Creamery’s Salted Caramel and Vanilla Bean Milk Shakes are sold at UMini by Umami in Westwood.
