Brookshire Grocery Co. Manufacturing Supports Breast Cancer Awareness

Brookshire's pink cap milk

East Texas-based regional grocery chain Brookshire Grocery Co. (BGC) plans to support National Breast Cancer Awareness Month by adding a pink ribbon to the caps of all Brookshire’s brand gallon milk jugs sold in the chain’s 152 stores across Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas.

The pink ribbons will be printed throughout the month of October in efforts to raise awareness of breast cancer research and prevention. BGC is a major sponsor of various breast cancer awareness efforts throughout Texas and Louisiana.

“We are committed to supporting the cause of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month to our employees and customers throughout October,” said BGC President and CEO Rick Rayford. “We believe that with more research and awareness, the breast cancer survivor rate will continue to grow in the United States.”
