Fleet Advantage, a leading innovator in truck fleet business analytics and equipment financing, has launched the Kids Around the Corner program as part of the Fleet Advantage Foundation to support children in the communities where its clients are located.

Kids Around the Corner will allow Fleet Advantage to donate a percentage of its profits to children’s charities at its clients’ direction and choice. The foundation encourages the donations be made to smaller, local charities where the clients are based.

“We feel it is important to not only serve our clients, but also to support the needs of the communities where their employees live and work,” said John Flynn, president and CEO of Fleet Advantage. “Fleet Advantage encourages community involvement and we believe it is our responsibility to give back to our local communities. We are proud to establish the Kids Around the Corner program and to partner with our clients in their efforts to make a meaningful impact in their local communities.”

Fleet Advantage is funding the foundation with an initial $80,000 donation and will continue to contribute to the foundation using a formula based on the company’s sales volume and profits.

Company reports first quarter results

In other Fleet Advantage news, the privately-held, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.-based company is reporting record financial results for its 13-week first quarter ending March 31.

Flynn noted that Fleet Advantage’s continued strong growth has been spurred by client acceptance of the company’s proprietary big data analytics and reporting systems, flexible financing models, clean diesel equipment specifications and asset management expertise.

“We are delivering on our value proposition to help clients achieve the lowest cost of ownership while also significantly reducing the carbon footprint of their fleets, and that success is driving our growth,” he said.

Highlights of the company’s first quarter include:

• Lease origination volume exceeds $110 million

• New equipment orders exceed 1,200 vehicles

• Addition of four large private fleet clients

• Growth of the company’s EXchangeIT program (80 percent of its eligible client base exchanged older

vehicles for new equipment) using data analytics and real-time market data to capture significant per-unit cost savings with new lease equipment.

Flynn said the company is well on its way to achieving annual growth targets for 2014.
